North American Interfaith Network
NAIN Connect 2025 Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada
Request for Proposals (RFP’s)
The Wolfville Area Inter Church Council (WAICC) is pleased to host NAIN Connect 2025 from August 3-7, 2025. The Connect will be hosted on the Acadia University campus and throughout Wolfville and surrounding communities.
Theme: “Mending our World Together: Interfaith responses to Social Justice Issues”.
“Nearly every year since 1988 the North American Interfaith Network (nain.org) has sponsored an in-person gathering called the Connect. A NAIN Connect is an opportunity for people who are interested or involved in interfaith work to interact with each other through sharing best practices, having opportunities to experience diverse expressions of meditation and prayer, to listen to speakers on significant subjects, to share meals and to enjoy one another’s company, to make new acquaintances, and to learn about other interfaith ventures being undertaken across the continent. NAIN Connects are open and welcoming gatherings to which all interested persons are invited.” (NAIN Connect Guidelines, July 2018)
As we consider “Mending our World”, how do we hold hope in the face of increasing local and global disparity, conflict and despair? How are we responding to multiple challenges of injustice? What are the possibilities?
The WAICC Program Committee invites proposals for presentations on topics related to the theme, especially requesting those on the following topics: racism and reconciliation; economic justice; climate and environment; and peace and justice.
